The NDIA has launched a couple of new resources aimed at preparing people living with disability, their families and supporters, providers and the wider community for the full roll out of the NDIS.

These resources will potentially be very helpful to people involved in peer support networks.

The NDIS Ready webpage contains information on the simple steps people can take to get ready for the NDIS. It also has a range of new resources and videos.

The NDIS Ready Communications Toolkit  is intended to provide individuals and organisations, including providers and community organisations, with communication materials that can help spread the word about the NDIS across a range of communications channels, including websites, intranets, social media platforms and electronic and printed newsletters.

It provides key facts and messages about the NDIS to date, and outlines the roll out of the Scheme for each state and territory. The Toolkit is available in PDF and Word.

If you have any questions or feedback about the resources you can contact the NDIA engagement team via engagement@ndis.gov.au
